Banswara : A seven-year-old girl was attacked by a dog on Thursday afternoon while she was in the field with her father in Chandu Ji ka Gada village, located on the Udaipur road in the district. The father ran to save his daughter.

Sidhi, daughter of Naresh Bunkar, was bitten by a stray dog. The girl suffered several serious injuries to her chest and legs. The girl’s mother, Pinky, said that Sidhi had gone to the field behind her house with her father. When she suddenly felt the need to use the toilet, she sat down in the bushes nearby. Suddenly, a dog came from behind and attacked the girl’s hands, feet, and head. The girl fell to the ground and started screaming. Hearing her voice, the father, Naresh, who was present in the field, ran to the girl and drove the dog away with stones.
The injured girl was taken by her father to the CHC for initial treatment. From there, she was referred to the district hospital. The family said that since it was a holiday on Thursday, the girl was at home, which is why she went to the field with her family.
