Himmatnagar, Sabarkantha (Gujarat), September 25: A devastating road accident occurred near Himmatnagar in Sabarkantha district of Gujarat on Wednesday morning, claiming the lives of seven people on the spot. One person is critically injured and has been admitted to a nearby hospital for treatment.
This tragic incident took place near Modasa Kadva Patidar Samajwadi, where a speeding car rammed into the rear of a truck. The impact was so severe that the car was completely mangled. According to preliminary information, all the deceased are believed to be residents of Ahmedabad. They were all on their way from Shamlaji to Ahmedabad.
Eyewitnesses at the scene reported that the car was speeding, causing it to lose control and crash into the back of the truck.
Upon receiving the information, the police and fire department reached the spot and initiated rescue operations. The car was cut open to retrieve the bodies. The police have launched an investigation into the accident and are identifying the deceased.
The car was completely damaged after colliding with the truck. The condition of the car suggests that it was speeding. Firefighters are using cutters to extract the bodies trapped in the car.
Himmatnagar DYSP AK Patel, speaking to the media, said that a speeding Innova car rammed into a truck from behind on the national highway from Shamlaji to Himmatnagar this morning. Seven people have died in this accident.
One person, Honey Tolwani, is injured and has been taken to the hospital for treatment. The police and medical team are taking action.
