New Delhi, July 30: The holy month of Sawan, dedicated to the worship of Lord Shiva, commenced on Thursday. On this occasion, several Chief Ministers from BJP-ruled states, including Yogi Adityanath and Rekha Gupta, extended their greetings to the public.
Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath expressed on ‘X’, “The sacred month of Sawan, dedicated to the worship and adoration of Lord Shiva, begins today. This holy period is a unique opportunity for spiritual upliftment, self-control, and devotion. I warmly welcome all the devotees participating in the Kanwar Yatra. May Lord Shiva fulfill all your wishes and bring virtue into everyone’s life. Har Har Mahadev.”
Delhi’s Chief Minister Rekha Gupta also conveyed her wishes for the beginning of Sawan, stating, “Sawan is a divine opportunity to connect with Shiva. It is a time when faith transforms into resolve, penance becomes strength, and devotion paves the way for public welfare. The Delhi government has ensured the smooth operation of Kanwar camps, providing drinking water, medical aid, rest facilities, cleanliness, accessible routes, uninterrupted electricity, and all necessary arrangements with utmost faith, sensitivity, and dedication.”
She added, “With the blessings of Baba Bholenath, may all the wishes of Shiva devotees be fulfilled, may His blessings remain upon every family, and may this holy month of Sawan bring happiness, peace, and prosperity to all.”
Haryana Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini also wished the residents a blessed Sawan month, stating, “With the grace of Lord Shiva, may happiness, prosperity, good health, and well-being fill everyone’s life, and may the blessings of Bholenath always be upon our country and state.”
Rajasthan’s Chief Minister Bhajanlal Sharma posted, “Heartfelt congratulations to all on the auspicious beginning of the holy month of Sawan dedicated to the worship of Mahadev. May this sacred month bring happiness, peace, prosperity, health, and positive energy into your lives. With the infinite grace of Lord Bholenath, may all your wishes be fulfilled, and may our state and country continue on the path of progress and prosperity.”
Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Mohan Yadav extended his heartfelt wishes for the beginning of the beloved month of Sawan, praying that the devotion to Bholenath brings happiness and prosperity to all.
Bihar Chief Minister Samrat Chaudhary, wishing the residents on the commencement of Sawan, stated on ‘X’, “I pray to Lord Shiva that this holy month brings happiness, peace, good health, prosperity, and spiritual awareness into your lives. May the infinite grace of Lord Bholenath fill every family with joy, prosperity, and well-being, and may our society continue to progress on the path of harmony, service, and values.”
