A teaser of the upcoming launch has been spotted in the Samsung Store app. It confirms that the new launch will take place on March 11 at 2:30 pm IST. However, the name of the smartphone that will be announced on this day has not been revealed. However, once you subscribe at the attached link, the teaser reveals many details about the upcoming model, including the previously hinted-at key Island Bump feature.
This model appears in pink in the teaser. The teaser also promises better low-light photography capabilities, a “powerful processor,” and Knox Security data protection. It should also be splash and slip resistant. The teaser also states that the phone will come with four firmware upgrades and five years of security patch updates.
It is speculated that the two models Galaxy A55 5G and Galaxy A35 5G will be launched on March 11th. The first color is available in Perfect Ice Blue, Perfect Lime, Perfect Lilac and Perfect Navy. There are also reports that the 6GB and 8GB variants will be priced at €389 (approximately Rs. 35,000) and €459 (approximately Rs. 41,300) respectively.
The Samsung Galaxy A35 5G is also expected to feature a 6.6-inch 120Hz Full HD+ Super AMOLED display, an in-house Exynos 1380 SoC with 128GB and 256GB storage options, and 50MP and 13MP triple rear cameras MP have. Front camera, 5000mAh battery with 25W wired charging support. It also features an Android 14-based UI and is said to be IP67 certified for dust and water resistance.
Meanwhile, the Samsung Galaxy A55 5G has similar colors, battery, charging and IP rating. The device is powered by Exynos 1480 chipset and will be available in 8GB + 256GB configuration. It is also said to have a 6.4-inch Full HD+ 120Hz Super AMOLED display and a 32MP selfie camera. Unlike the Galaxy A35 5G’s rumored 8-megapixel ultrawide camera, the Galaxy A55 5G is expected to feature a 12-megapixel ultrawide camera as well as a triple rear camera system with a 50-megapixel sensor.
