Samsung is reportedly working on an “Ultra” variant for the upcoming Galaxy Z Fold 6. According to an earlier tweet by industry insider Ross Young on X, the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 6 Slim is in development. The display of the phone will be larger than that of the regular Galaxy Z Fold 6 phone.
In his post, Young says the device doesn’t support the S Pen. And since it doesn’t have a digitizer, the smartphone could be thinner than the regular Fold 6 phone.

The report refutes earlier reports that Samsung is introducing a dual-chip processor strategy in its foldable phones. According to a Korean publication, Samsung used a Snapdragon processor in its foldable smartphone, and it will continue to do so this year.
Qualcomm announced the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset last October. Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 has a 3.3 GHz main core, five power cores (up to 3.2 GHz) and two power cores (2.3 GHz).
Other rumors surrounding the July 10 launch include the Galaxy Ring, which is said to be equipped with AI-powered health services. Samsung is expected to unveil all three Galaxy Watch 7 models at the event.
