A report from Galaxyclub.nl suggests that the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 6 Ultra is in development. It also states that the device was developed with the model code Q6A. The website reports that Samsung is developing a new device with model number SM-F958, which the sources say is a Galaxy Z Fold 6 branded “Ultra.” This is because the last digit in Samsung’s model numbering system usually indicates the model type.
According to the report, the number “6” is always used for “folding” models and the number “8” is always used for the latest “Ultra” models. For example, the current Galaxy Z Fold 5 is called SM-F946, while the model number of the next model is expected to be SM-F956. The model number of the Galaxy S24 Ultra, on the other hand, is SM-S928.
In fact, the new model number represents a rare fusion of the Galaxy Z series and Galaxy S series, with the “Ultra” branding making its way to Samsung’s foldable phones for the first time. Samsung currently uses the “Ultra” brand on its Galaxy Tab S series tablets and its Galaxy Book series laptops.

The letter “N” at the end indicates that this is a type of device designed for the Korean market.
