Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 6 Spotted in Leaked Renders With Dual Camera Setup, Familiar Design

The Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 6 has been spotted in leaked renders a day after images of its bigger sibling surfaced online. An insider has shared detailed images of the upcoming clamshell design, which is expected to be unveiled later this year as the successor to the Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 5. Samsung’s next compact foldable phone may resemble the model the company introduced last year. , including a dual camera in landscape orientation and a flat folding design.

Detailed CAD renderings of the Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 6 have been published by tipster Steve Hemmerstoffer (@OnLeaks) in collaboration with Smartprix. These images show the mint green smartphone from different angles. According to the report, the smartphone will launch in the third quarter of 2024, based on the company’s previous launch plans.

Leaked renders suggest that the Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 6 will have a 3.4-inch clamshell screen with a 120Hz refresh rate – the same size as last year’s model. In the upper left corner there is a dual camera, the characteristics of which are not yet known. The hinge is similar to the Galaxy Z Flip 5 hinge (test report).

Inside the Galaxy Z Flip is a 6.7-inch internal screen with a 120Hz refresh rate. Photos taken of the folded phone show slight creasing. According to the leaked smartphone display specifications, they will remain unchanged this year.

According to the press release, the smartphone measures 165.0 x 71.7 x 7.4mm, a 0.5mm increase in thickness, thanks to the Galaxy Z Flip 6’s larger 4,000mAh battery. Other specifications of the phone include the flagship Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset, up to 12GB of RAM and up to 512GB of internal storage. The phone is expected to launch with One UI 6.1 based on Android 14 and offer some of the Galaxy AI features introduced in the Galaxy S24 series of smartphones earlier this year.
