The Samsung Galaxy Watch Ultra may have just been officially announced thanks to a new support page on the company’s official website. According to reports, the South Korean tech giant’s next smartwatch, the Galaxy Watch FE, was recently certified by the Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS). The listing also reveals some specifications and model numbers of the Galaxy Watch Ultra, and now a support page has been launched on Samsung’s official website.

Recently, a support page for the product with model number SM-L705F was published on Samsung’s Latin America website. According to a report from 91Mobiles, this model number could correspond to the Galaxy Watch Ultra. Samsung’s upcoming smartwatch was spotted on the BIS certification website alongside other Galaxy Watch 7 series models and arrives with model numbers SM-L300, SM-L305F, SM-L310, SM-L315F, SM-L705F and SM-L705F . R861.
According to the report, the model number SM-L705F is associated with the Samsung Galaxy Watch Ultra, which the company could unveil at the Galaxy Unpacked event, expected to take place in July. The same model number is also listed on Samsung’s official support page, indicating the existence of a super smartwatch.
The Galaxy Watch Ultra is available in a 47mm version with Wi-Fi + cellular capabilities. This processor is equipped with a five-core CPU manufactured using 3nm process and the maximum brightness can be up to 3000 nits. This smartwatch also features a titanium body, support for dual-band GPS (L1+L5), and water resistance to a depth of 100 meters.
It is also believed that the name of the next smartwatch might not be called Galaxy Watch Ultra but “X”. Apparently, the wearable could launch as the Galaxy Watch
The Samsung Galaxy Watch 7 series will most likely see a complete design overhaul along with the new version. According to leaker Steve H. McFly (@OnLeaks), it could have a new square face and a new third button. However, the rotating frame remains.
So how much will it cost? There is no official information on the price of the Galaxy Watch Ultra (or Watch X), but it is speculated that the price will be significantly higher than Samsung’s current offerings. It could compete with the Apple Watch Ultra 2 at launch.
