Samsung Galaxy S24 Ultra specs have leaked online ahead of the company’s flagship launch in 2024. The successor to the Galaxy S23 Ultra presented this year could have a flat-edge display.
According to the images leaked on microblogging site X (formerly Twitter). The Samsung Galaxy S24 Ultra is said to feature Qualcomm’s as yet unannounced 8th generation Snapdragon 865 chipset, which will be found in most flagship smartphones from different manufacturers next year.
Tipster Ice Universe (@UniverseIce) posted an image of the Samsung Galaxy S24 Ultra on Monday, showing the front of the phone.
Unlike its predecessor, this phone appears to feature a curved, edgeless screen.
The edges of the display are similar to those of this year’s model. The leaked image also shows a punch-hole cutout in the center of the selfie camera above the display.
The display specs of the Samsung Galaxy S24 Ultra have also been leaked by Ice Universe, which has been shown to have shared product details from Samsung ahead of the launch.
According to some experts, the Samsung Galaxy S24 Ultra will have a 6.78-inch screen with a resolution of 1440 x 3120 pixels, an aspect ratio of 19.5:9 and a maximum brightness of 2500 nits.
Until now, the Samsung Galaxy S24 Ultra was expected to have a size of 162.3 x 79 x 8.6 mm. The phone is also said to feature Samsung’s Exynos 2400 chipset or Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 SoC in various markets.
This device will run on Google’s upcoming Android 14 operating system with the company’s One UI 6 user interface.
Previous reports also suggested that the Samsung Galaxy S24 Ultra will feature a powerful 50MP telephoto camera with 3x optical zoom.
The company’s current flagship, the Galaxy S23 Ultra, has a 10-megapixel telephoto camera with 3x optical zoom.
If the leaked details are correct, it could mean that Samsung’s upcoming flagship might produce better images when zooming in on the subject.
These leaked details are of little value, however, as the South Korean tech company has yet to announce any plans to launch the alleged handset.
