Samsung has rolled out the One UI 7 beta update for the Galaxy S24, Galaxy S24+, and Galaxy S24 Ultra in India and South Korea, bringing new features, bug fixes, and enhanced video capabilities. One of the biggest additions is Log video recording, a feature previously introduced with the Galaxy S25 series.

Log Video Recording Arrives on the Galaxy S24 Ultra
With the One UI 7 beta update, Galaxy S24 Ultra users can now record Log videos, a pro-grade video format used by filmmakers for greater control over color grading.
📷 How to Enable Log Video on Galaxy S24 Ultra:
1️⃣ Go to Camera settings > Advanced video options.
2️⃣ Turn on the Log toggle.
3️⃣ Choose whether to enable Log support for Pro Video mode only or for both Video and Pro Video modes.
4️⃣ Once activated, a LOG button will appear in the top-right corner of the native Camera app, allowing you to toggle the feature on/off.
🎥 What is Log Video Recording?
- Flat, low-contrast footage that captures maximum dynamic range.
- Best suited for professional video editing, allowing precise color correction and grading.
- Offers cinematic-quality videos, perfect for content creators and videographers.
📌 Important Note: Log videos will appear flat and grayish until color correction is applied. Samsung’s Gallery app offers built-in tools to enhance Log footage, or users can edit them using professional-grade software.
One UI 7 Beta: What Else is New?
Along with Log video recording, the One UI 7 beta update introduces:
✅ Performance optimizations and bug fixes
✅ Enhanced camera processing
✅ Refined UI animations
✅ Battery life improvements
Samsung continues to push industry-leading camera technology, and with Log recording now available on the Galaxy S24 Ultra, videographers and content creators get access to cinematic-grade video capabilities right from their smartphone.
