According to reports, the Samsung Galaxy Unpacked event is expected to take place in the next few months.
The latest leaked information about the company’s upcoming launch event suggests that the company will unveil new foldable phones called Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 6 and Galaxy Z Flip 6 at an event in early July.
Flips aren’t the only devices debuting at the company’s upcoming Galaxy Unpacked event. Samsung’s new Galaxy Ring may also be announced.
A report from SamMobile, citing several anonymous sources, states that Samsung will hold its next Galaxy Unpacked event on July 10.
The event is reportedly set to take place in Paris ahead of the 2024 Summer Olympics (Paris 2024). July 26th. Samsung usually announces new Galaxy Z series phones in the US, but in 2023 the company made an exception and held an unveiling event in South Korea.
This year, Samsung plans to unveil three foldable phones at its upcoming Galaxy Unpacked event (usually two models are unveiled).
The company could launch two book-shaped Galaxy Z Fold models alongside the foldable Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 6.
The rumored Galaxy Z Fold 6 “Ultra” model is expected to include hardware upgrades and a price increase and may not be available in some markets.
At its upcoming Galaxy Unpacked event, Samsung will also reveal details about the Galaxy Ring, the company’s first small wearable fitness tracking device.
The company first introduced the wearable device at its first Galaxy Unpacked event of the year, where it unveiled the Galaxy S24 series of smartphones. The Galaxy Ring design was also unveiled at the Mobile World Congress (MWC 2024) in February.
Other devices rumored to be in development, including the Galaxy Watch 7 series and Galaxy Tab S10 series, may also be announced at the upcoming Galaxy Unpacked event.
Meanwhile, Samsung is also working on an augmented reality (XR) headset (Samsung Galaxy XR) that could be unveiled at the event as a competitor to Apple’s Vision Pro mixed reality headset.
