Udaipur: Sai Tirupati University, located in Udaipur’s Umerda area, celebrated its third convocation ceremony with great enthusiasm at the Mewar Banquet Hall. During the event, nearly 150 MBBS and 70 MD/MS students from the Faculty of Medicine were awarded their degrees. Additionally, 11 students from various faculties received Certificates of Merit in recognition of their academic excellence.
ADM (City) War Singh, the Chief Guest of the ceremony, extended congratulations to the graduates, faculty members, and their proud families. Addressing the audience, Singh emphasized the importance of the medical profession and encouraged the graduates to dedicate their skills and knowledge to the service of humanity. “The medical field is a noble calling, and doctors are often regarded as ‘Gods on Earth.’ It is crucial to embrace this responsibility with dedication, integrity, and a commitment to national service,” he stated.
Chairperson Ashish Agrawal inaugurated the ceremony and presided over the proceedings. In his welcome address, Vice Chancellor Prof. Dr. Prashant Nahar highlighted the journey of Sai Tirupati University since its establishment in 2016. He shared insights into the university’s constituent colleges, academic programs in medical and allied fields, modern infrastructure, research initiatives, and the notable achievements of the affiliated PIMS Hospital, which has become a leading healthcare institution in Southern Rajasthan.
Commitment to Academic Excellence
CEO Sheetal Agrawal congratulated the graduates and medal winners, wishing them success in their future endeavors. She also commended the contributions of doctors, faculty members, and staff towards the continued success of both PIMS Hospital and the university.
MD Naman Agrawal outlined future plans for the university, calling upon faculty and staff to work collectively to elevate Sai Tirupati University to the ranks of India’s premier educational institutions.
Prof. Dr. Suresh Goyal, Dean of PIMS Medical College, administered the Hippocratic Oath to the graduates, inspiring them to uphold ethical standards and serve society with compassion and professionalism. Registrar Dr. Devendra Jain expressed gratitude to all dignitaries, council members, deans, faculty, staff, students, and their families for making the event a success. He reaffirmed the university’s commitment to maintaining high academic standards.

Outstanding students were recognized with gold and silver medals. Among the gold medal recipients were Dr. Akanksha Yadav (MD Anesthesiology), Dr. Surbhi Verma (Obstetrics & Gynecology), Himanshu Tanwar (MBBS), Monica Joshi (BSc Nursing), Manisha Louhar (BPharma), Aanchal Arora (BPT), and Yash Rajora (MBA).
Silver medals were awarded to Aradhana Jarwal (MBBS), Pallavi Raina (BSc Nursing), Jyoti Sain (BPharma), and Ankita Satish Rao (BPT).
