Sai Tirupati University Backs Rajasthan’s First School Mental Health Conference

Udaipur, May 8 (Udaipur Kiran): Sai Tirupati University, Udaipur participated as the academic sponsor of Rajasthan’s first School Mental Health Conference held at Hotel Paradise Bliss in Udaipur.

The conference was jointly organised by Brain Biomag Tech Private Limited and Malik Mansik Shakti Foundation. Sai Tirupati University Chairman Ashish Agrawal extended support for the academic sponsorship, strengthening institutional efforts towards student mental health and academic well-being.

Gaurav Agrawal attended the event as the chief guest, while Prashant Nahar, SC Joshi and Harish Mathur were present as special guests.

The theme of the conference was “Mental Health Challenges and Needs in Schools – Minds Ready for the Future.” Around 90 to 100 participants attended the event, including teachers, psychologists, doctors, school representatives, researchers and mental health experts.

Internationally trained experts including Dr. Praveen Khairkar, Dr. Amresh, Dr. Bhakti and Dr. Suresh Badamath addressed the conference and discussed the growing importance of mental health in schools and public policy.

Experts shared their views on cognitive development, autism and learning disabilities, neurofeedback, emotional balance, behavioural issues and early intervention. Discussions were also held on the role of modern neurotechnology, including biofeedback systems, GSR-based emotional analysis and advanced treatment protocols.

The conference was also broadcast online on the request of Rajasthan’s Medical Education Department to ensure wider outreach.

Poonam Rathore, Dr. Baghelal, Dr. Savita Jagawat and Dr. Richa Singh Rajpurohit also shared their suggestions and views during the programme. Speakers stressed the need for a structured mental health support system for students, teachers and parents.

The conference also focused on long-neglected mental and behavioural health issues among children and adolescents. Experts highlighted the importance of early identification, awareness, prevention and supportive school environments.
