Redmi Turbo 3 has been confirmed to launch in China in the near future and the company’s first smartphone in the ‘Turbo’ series has been spotted in leaked images. TipsterFixed Focus Digital (translated from Chinese) has shared a real image of the alleged Redmi Turbo 3 as well as two renders showing the back of the upcoming smartphone. The company has not revealed the specifications of the smartphone yet, but the leaked images suggest that it will come with a triple camera setup at the back.
The first image shared by a tipster on Weibo shows the phone in a hand position that reveals a view of the back with two cameras on the left side and a third camera in the middle. On the right side of the panel there appears to be Redmi branding in small letters with a circular LED flash.
According to GSMArena, the 200-megapixel rear camera setup is led by a 200-megapixel primary camera with optical image stabilization (OIS). Apparently, the smartphone will also feature an unspecified secondary camera and a macro camera in the middle.
Meanwhile, a leaker has shared two renders of what appears to be the Redmi Turbo 3 in a white and black color scheme, showing the same design of the phone as in the hands-on images. The leaked renders also show that the back of the phone is curved towards the right and left sides of the phone. On the back of the phone, both the volume and power buttons are located on the left side of the phone.
A few days ago, a company executive confirmed that the Chinese smartphone maker is planning to launch a new smartphone called Redmi Turbo 3. In China, it will be launched as part of the new Redmi Turbo smartphone series and as the successor to the Redmi Note 12 Turbo. Codename 3 is “Little Tornado” (translated from Chinese).
Redmi General Manager Thomas Wang has confirmed that the next Redmi smartphone will feature the new 3rd generation Qualcomm Snapdragon 8s chip. Previous reports also suggested that the phone will feature the same chipset, a 6.78-inch OLED display with a 144Hz refresh rate, and a 6,000mAh battery with support for 80W fast charging. The phone could eventually launch outside of China as the Poco F6. More details about both phones are expected to be revealed in the coming weeks.
