Xiaomi has confirmed that it will launch the Redmi Buds 5A in India next week.
The new True Wireless Stereo (TWS) earphones will be launched alongside the Redmi Pad SE at the Xiaomi Smarter Living 2024 event.
This listing shows the Redmi Buds 5A in black and white color options with in-ear stems. The headphones have active noise cancellation (ANC) and support Google Fast Pairing.
Xiaomi has confirmed the arrival of the new Redmi Buds 5A in India on its Smarter Living 2024 event microsite. The TWS headphones will be released on April 23 together with the Redmi Pad SE. Xiaomi has confirmed that it will launch a robot vacuum cleaner and hair dryer at the event, but the brand has not revealed any details about them yet.
The images on the microsite show the black and white color options of the Redmi Buds 5A. The earphone design seems to be similar to the Redmi Buds 5.
The headphones feature 12mm dynamic drivers and noise cancellation to eliminate unwanted external noise. It includes Bluetooth 5.4 and supports Google Fast Pair, so users can quickly pair audio devices with smartphones.
The Redmi Buds 5A is expected to be a hydrogenated version of the Redmi Buds 5. The latter was priced at Rs 2,999 in India last February. The wireless earbuds are available in Fusion Black, Fusion Purple and Fusion White.
The Redmi Buds 5 headphones have Bluetooth 5.3 and are IP54 dust and water resistant. It has 12.4mm dynamic drivers with a frequency response of 20Hz to 20kHz and provides up to 46dB of noise reduction.
