RedMagic OS 12 debuted on the RedMagic 12 Pro+ last week. The company has now revealed which older devices will receive the update and their respective timelines.

The RedMagic 11 Pro and 11S Pro series will be the first to receive RedMagic OS 12, with the update arriving in December. The RedMagic Gaming Tablet 5 Pro is scheduled to get the update in January.

In March, the RedMagic 10 Pro and 10S Pro series, the RedMagic 11 Air, and the RedMagic Gaming Tablet 3 Pro will receive the new operating system. The RedMagic 10 Air is set to get the update in April.

RedMagic OS 12 introduces a redesigned interface featuring a giant clock. The update also brings several artificial intelligence features, including an AI Magic Island and a new assistant equipped with a memory function.

Other highlights of the update include one-tap file transfers compatible with Apple devices, a redesigned game space that adapts to each game’s theme, and an esports training area offering built-in shooting and reaction mini-games.

RedMagic OS 12 also comes with version 3.0 of the X-Gravity platform, enabling cloud gaming, console streaming, and the ability to play mobile games on a larger screen.

The company specified that this rollout schedule applies to devices in China. RedMagic has not yet announced when global variants of these devices will receive the update.
