Naqvi said that a record number of pilgrims will be going for Haj this year.
He added that for the first time 1308 Muslim women from India are also going to Haj without “Mehram” which means a male companion. Also 98 female Assistant Haj Officers, Assistants, Coordinators, doctors and para-medics have been deployed to assist pilgrims.
Flights for Haj will start from 14th July, 2018 from various parts of the country.
