Realme will soon introduce a new smartphone series in the country. The new Realme P series, where the P stands for Power, will be specially curated for the Indian market and sold via Flipkart. This lineup confirms a mid-range smartphone experience.
The revelation was made by Realme Vice President Chase Xu via a post on X (formerly Twitter). Realme recently released a video titled “Power Up!” He criticized the arrival of his new smartphone series. Additionally, the tipsters have dropped hints about the name and chipset of the upcoming Realme P series.
X announced the arrival of the Realme P series in India via Chase Xu. The new line with 5G connectivity is designed exclusively for the Indian market and will be sold exclusively through Flipkart. It is confirmed to offer a mid-range smartphone experience to Indian customers. With the new series, Realme aims to redefine the mid-range experience and offer value-oriented premium products for young customers.
According to Xu, Realme will have sold more than 100 million devices in India by 2023. Last week, Realme released a teaser video titled “Power Up,” hinting at the launch of a new smartphone.
Meanwhile, X Advisor (@yabhishekhd) claimed that the P series will include Realme P1 and Realme P1 Pro models. The former is said to be powered by a MediaTek Dimensity 7200 chipset while the latter is likely to be powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 6 Gen 1 SoC.
The launch of the P series comes right after the launch of the Realme 12X 5G in the country. Realme already has several devices from the C series and the Narzo series in its portfolio. We also sell smartphones of several series. The brand is expected to release more teasers of the first phone in its P series in the coming days.
