(Udaipur Kiran): Ahead of its official launch on October 21 in China, Realme has confirmed key battery and charging specifications for its upcoming flagship, the Realme GT 8 Pro. The device is set to bring a major upgrade over its predecessor, the GT 7 Pro, both in capacity and features.

7,000mAh Battery with Dual Charging Support
The Realme GT 8 Pro will pack a 7,000mAh battery, a notable jump from the 6,500mAh unit on last year’s GT 7 Pro. The phone supports 120W wired fast charging and 50W wireless charging, along with bypass charging to prevent overheating during gaming or extended use.
Realme claims that the GT 8 Pro can charge from 0 to 50% in just 15 minutes using the 120W charger. Despite housing a significantly larger battery, the device remains sleek at just 8.20mm thick, making it slimmer than the GT 7 Pro (8.5mm).
Display and Performance
As per official teasers, the GT 8 Pro will feature a 6.78-inch flat OLED display with 2K resolution, a 144Hz refresh rate, and an ultrasonic under-display fingerprint sensor. It will run on Android 16-based Realme UI 7.
Under the hood, the smartphone will be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chipset, paired with a dedicated R1 graphics chip for improved gaming and visual performance. The device may offer configurations of up to 16GB RAM and 1TB of storage, and will weigh between 209 and 214 grams.
Camera and Video Capabilities
The GT 8 Pro features a Ricoh-certified 50MP 1/1.56-inch primary sensor with OIS, accompanied by a 50MP ultra-wide camera and a 200MP telephoto lens, likely using the Samsung HP5 sensor. The camera setup supports 4K 120fps video recording with Dolby Vision, and Realme has introduced a swappable camera module design—allowing users to switch between square, round, or robot-style layouts.
With these upgrades, the Realme GT 8 Pro positions itself as one of the most feature-rich Android flagships of 2025, combining performance, charging efficiency, and advanced imaging in a slim design.
