Although the specifications and pricing details of the GT series smartphones have not been revealed yet, a well-informed Chinese source claims that the Realme GT 7 Pro will come with Qualcomm’s next-generation chipset. It could be the first device to use this flagship chipset. According to rumors, the Xiaomi 15 and 15 Pro will also be presented with the same chipset.
Tipster Digital Chat Station on Weibo (translated from Chinese) claims that the Realme GT 7 Pro will be the first smartphone in the global market to support the Snapdragon 8 Gen 4 SoC. Qualcomm is expected to unveil this new chipset in October this year and the latest rumors suggest that the phone is scheduled to launch in the fourth quarter.
This comes days after Realme Vice President Chase Xu announced plans to launch the Realme GT 7 Pro in India later this year. Previous leaks claimed that the Xiaomi 15 and Xiaomi 15 Pro will be the first smartphones to use the Snapdragon 8 Gen 4 mobile platform. The OnePlus 13 and iQoo 13 are also believed to run on this SoC.

The device features a triple rear camera unit with a 50-megapixel Sony LYT 808 sensor and a 32-megapixel Sony IMX615 camera for selfies. This phone packs a 5400mAh battery with 100W wired fast charging support and 50W wireless charging support.
