The Realme 13 series will soon launch in India, the company confirmed in a preview posted on social media on Monday. The smartphone range is expected to consist of two models: the Realme 13 and the Realme 13+, which will be launched a few weeks after the launch of the Realme 13 Pro series on July 30. It looks like the Chinese smartphone maker will soon introduce the standard lineup in the Indian market. And its promotional materials hint at possible performance-oriented updates.
Realme 13 series launched in India
In a post on X (formerly Twitter), a Realme official announced the upcoming Realme 13. The teaser shows the number 13 with the caption “Speed has a new number”. It emphasizes the trinity of speed: chipset, memory and charging – the three main areas that affect smartphone performance.
Although little is known about the details, the smartphone series has been leaked several times in recent weeks, including the Realme 13+ on the Chinese TENAA database and Geekbench. In the preview, Realme states that it will be “faster than the Turbo D7200 chipset”.
Realme 13 series specifications (expected)
The Realme 13 has a 6.72-inch LTPS display with Full HD+ resolution. It can be operated with an octa-core 2.2 GHz chipset. The smartphone is expected to have four RAMs and four internal storages and the top configuration is likely to be 16GB + 1TB.
In terms of optics, it will be equipped with a dual rear camera consisting of a 50-megapixel primary camera and a 2-megapixel secondary sensor. The Realme 13 is reported to have a 4880mAh battery.
Meanwhile, the Realme 13+ may feature a 6.67-inch Full HD+ AMOLED display. It can be equipped with an octa-core chipset with a base frequency of 2.00 GHz, four cores with a frequency of 2.5 GHz and four cores with a peak frequency of 2.0 GHz. The smartphone is expected to have the same RAM, storage options and camera as the regular Realme 13.
Both phones are reported to run on Android 14 Realme UI 5.
