The Realme 13 Pro 5G series will launch in India soon and will come with a super-sharp camera with artificial intelligence (AI) features. Calling it “the first ultra-sharp professional camera with artificial intelligence,” Realme said it will also introduce the Sony LYT-701 camera sensor with the launch of its next smartphone.

The Realme 13 Pro 5G series comes in two versions: Realme 13 Pro+ and Realme 13 Pro. It is confirmed to have a dual-camera setup on the back, with a 50-megapixel Sony LYT-701 primary camera with optical image stabilization (OIS) and a 50-megapixel Sony LYT-600 periscope camera with 3x optical Zoom.
Francis Wang, head of product marketing at Realme, said at the event: “Advances in smartphone cameras have given users more flexibility and control, but purely hardware-based advancements have their limits. Yes, the future isn’t just about better hardware, it’s about artificial intelligence.
According to the company, the camera system of this smartphone is equipped with HYPERIMAGE+, a three-layer artificial intelligence image architecture. It supports on-device AI imaging algorithms and cloud-based AI image editing. Realme has highlighted three special AI features in the 13 Pro 5G series, namely AI Pure Bokeh, AI Natural Skin Tone and AI Ultra Clarity.
Pure Bokeh AI is said to create “realistic film portraits” in seconds. Meanwhile, Realme says AI Natural Skin Tone can enhance the appearance of different skin tones using on-device AI processing to achieve a natural look. AI Ultra Clarity is designed to improve low-resolution photos and restore quality. The Realme 13 Pro Series 5G also comes with a Smart Removal feature powered by artificial intelligence that allows you to remove objects in snapshots.
Realme 13 Pro+ 5G Specifications (Expected)
The Realme 13 Pro+ 5G features a 6.7-inch AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate. Under the hood is a Snapdragon 7s Gen 3 chipset paired with up to 12GB of RAM and up to 512GB of internal storage . The phone is expected to run on ColorOS 14 based on Android 14. The power required for this device is reported to be provided by a 5050mAh battery with support for 80W fast charging.
