Realme is launching its new 12-series smartphone in India today (April 2). The company will launch the Realme 12x smartphone in the country today at 12 noon. The presentation will be broadcast live on the company’s official YouTube channel.

Retaining the same 6.72-inch 120Hz Full HD+ display, the Realme 12X promises a brighter screen with a peak brightness of 950 nits, which is a significant improvement over the Realme 11X’s peak brightness of 650 nits.
Following this trend, the Realme 12X will be powered by the same MediaTek Dimensity 6100+ 5G chipset as its predecessor. It packs a massive 5,000mAh battery with 45W fast charging support, beating the Realme 11X’s 4,880mAh battery with 33W fast charging support.
Additionally, the Realme 12X features a 50-megapixel AI camera and dual stereo speakers, all in a lightweight 188-gram, slim 7.69mm body.
Like other models in the Realme 12 series, the smartphone has IP54 protection against water and dust and supports Rainwater Smart Touch.
To further improve the user experience, the Realme 12X introduces air gestures, previously featured on the Realme Narzo 70 Pro 5G. It runs Realme UI 5.0 based on Android 14.
