Realme 12X 5G was announced in India on April 2, a few weeks after its initial launch in China. The phone is powered by a MediaTek Dimensity 6100+ chipset and a 5000mAh battery with SuperVOOC charging support. It features a luxury watch-inspired design similar to what we’ve seen on other Realme 12 models recently and comes with features like dynamic buttons, air gestures, and Mini Capsule 2.0. Realme 12X 5G will be available in India for Rs 20 lakh. 11,999 4GB + 128GB option. The 6GB + 128GB and 8GB + 128GB variants are priced at Rs. 13,499 Rs 14,999 each. Color options include Twilight Purple and Forest Green. The first sale will begin on April 10 at 12:00 pm IST across Flipkart and Realme India websites.
In a press release, Realme announced that the Realme 12X 5G will be available in a special sale today, April 5, ahead of its first sale. The sale will continue from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM IST via the above-mentioned online platforms. As part of this sale, the phone is available at a lower price than the stated price. ICICI, HDFC Bank and SBI cardholders can avail bank discounts of up to Rs. 1000.
The company has confirmed that under these bank offers, customers can get the 4GB variant of the Realme 12X 5G at an effective price of Rs 2,000. 10,999. The phone is powered by a 6nm MediaTek Dimensity 6100+ SoC with up to 8GB of LPDDR4x RAM and 128GB of UFS 2.2 internal storage. This phone features Realme UI 5.0 based on Android 14.
On the camera front, the Realme 12X 5G has a 50-megapixel primary sensor and a 2-megapixel macro camera along with an LED flash on the back. The front camera, on the other hand, has an 8 megapixel sensor.
The Realme 12X 5G is powered by a 5,000mAh battery that supports 45W SuperVOOC wired charging. It also supports dual 5G connectivity, Wi-Fi, GPS, Bluetooth 5.3 and USB Type-C. For security reasons, the fingerprint sensor is embedded on the side and has an IP54 dust and splash protection standard. Its weight is 188 grams and the dimensions of the phone are 165.6 x 76.1 x 7.69 mm.
