Kuala Lumpur, May 1: A reader meeting for the English edition of ‘Xi Jinping: Governance of China, Volume 5’ was held on April 30 in Malaysia’s capital, Kuala Lumpur. Participants expressed that the significant works of Chinese President Xi Jinping encompass great developmental experiences and governance concepts that represent Eastern wisdom. In the context of the complex developments in the current geopolitical landscape and profound changes in the global governance system, the dissemination of books is crucial for deepening the exchange of governance experiences between China and Malaysia, enhancing the friendship, mutual trust, and cooperative benefits of both nations, and promoting the construction of a high-level strategic community with a shared future. During the event, the Chinese side presented copies of the English edition of ‘Xi Jinping: Governance of China, Volume 5’ to foreign guests. Experts in attendance discussed topics such as national governance, China-ASEAN regional cooperation, and the community with a shared future between China and Malaysia. Notably, the event was organized by the Press Office of the State Council of China, the State Administration of Foreign Language Publishing, and the Chinese Embassy in Malaysia, with nearly 200 participants from the publishing, think tank, media, and other sectors of both countries.
