MUMBAI, July 30: The official trailer of director Nitesh Tiwari’s much-awaited film Ramayana has been released. The 4-minute 10-second trailer, launched at 4:15 AM, has created a buzz on social media. While Ranbir Kapoor has impressed audiences with his portrayal of Lord Ram, Yash has grabbed attention with his fierce and powerful avatar as Ravana.

Ravana’s Reign of Terror

The trailer opens with Ravana, played by Yash, in an aggressive and commanding form. It portrays Ravana establishing his dominance over the three worlds—heaven, earth, and the underworld—with his immense power.

Birth of Lord Ram

As Ravana’s tyranny reaches its peak, Lord Ram, portrayed by Ranbir Kapoor, is born as the eldest son of King Dasharatha, played by Arun Govil, to restore righteousness. The trailer showcases Lord Ram’s exceptional archery skills, wisdom, and calm personality.

From Marriage to Exile

The trailer then moves to Lord Ram’s marriage with Sita, played by Sai Pallavi, followed by the emotional sequence of his 14-year exile to fulfil his father’s promise.

Turning Point and Journey to Lanka

During the exile, the trailer depicts the encounter between Shurpanakha, played by Rakul Preet Singh, and Lord Ram, after which Ravana vows revenge. It concludes with the abduction of Sita and Lord Ram’s determined march towards Lanka to confront Ravana.
