Residents of Kota city are set to face power outages across multiple areas today, as private power distribution company KEDL (Kota Electricity Distribution Limited) undertakes essential maintenance work on electricity lines. The scheduled shutdown will affect different localities at different times, with outages lasting up to six hours in some regions.
Planned Power Cuts Across Key Localities
The maintenance drive, as part of KEDL’s routine infrastructure upkeep, will result in temporary disruptions to electricity supply. The power cuts are scheduled as follows:

9:00 AM to 3:00 PM: Kalatalab Road, Manpura Road Agricultural Zone, Bhadana Agriculture Area, Bhadana Rehabilitation Scheme, and Kaladevi Dham.

9:00 AM to 1:00 PM: Near Joota Factory, Vallabhbari Gumanpura, Porwal Bhawan, Mehta Nursing Home, Jain Diwakar, Kacchi Basti Vallabhbari, Sulabh Complex, and Gurudwara Vallabhbari.

10:30 AM to 2:00 PM: Keshavpura Sector 6 and 7.

10:00 AM to 4:00 PM: Indra Vihar, Jawahar Nagar Police Station and surrounding areas.

10:30 AM to 1:00 PM: Devli Village, Khatu Shyam Residency, Maruti Nandan Residency, Basant Vihar, Nohra Road, Royal Villa, DTDS Office and surroundings, Shiv Dham, Apeksha Vihar, Meera Bai Residential Scheme, Som Vihar, Jayshree Vihar, Devli Arab Road, Red Moon Bar vicinity, Bhatia Chakki, Vishwakarma Nagar Extension and Vishwakarma Nagar Special Area.
