Rajasthan Weather Turns Mildly Cold as Temperatures Begin to Drop Gradually

Jaipur, October 19 (Udaipur Kiran): The weather pattern in Rajasthan is gradually changing, with daytime warmth and cooler nights signaling the transition towards winter. While the days remain dry and slightly warm, night temperatures are steadily falling by 1 to 3 degrees Celsius across most districts.

According to the Meteorological Department, cold winds from the north are now influencing the region, slowly increasing the winter effect. On Saturday, Sikar in the Shekhawati region recorded the lowest temperature in the state at 14°C, marking it as the coldest district of the day.

Forecasts suggest that by the last week of October, several parts of Rajasthan could see minimum temperatures dropping below 15°C. Meanwhile, western districts such as Barmer, Jaisalmer, and Bikaner continue to experience relatively hot daytime conditions, with maximum temperatures ranging between 35°C and 38°C. However, light chill can still be felt during the night.

The Jaipur Meteorological Centre has predicted that the state’s weather will remain stable through Diwali and for two to three days afterward. No rainfall is expected in any district during this period. While daytime temperatures are likely to stay near normal due to bright sunshine, nighttime temperatures may dip by another 1–3°C as the week progresses.
