Jaipur, 22 October (udaipur kiran news): The RAJASTHAN Government has carried out a major reshuffle in the Indian Police Service (IPS), transferring and posting 34 officers across key positions in the state. The order, issued by the Department of Personnel (K-1) and signed by Joint Secretary Dr. Dheeraj Kumar Singh, states that the transfers have been made in the interest of the state with immediate effect.
Several senior officers have been assigned new responsibilities, while some have also been given additional charges.
Shri Sanjay Kumar Agarwal (1992) has been transferred from Director General of Police (Intelligence), Rajasthan, Jaipur and appointed as Director General of Police (Law & Order), Rajasthan, Jaipur.
Shri Govind Gupta (1993) has been transferred from Director General, Prisons, Rajasthan, Jaipur and appointed as Director General of Police (Technical Services – Telecommunication & Technical) and Traffic, Rajasthan, Jaipur.
Shri Anil Paliwal (1994) has been transferred from Additional Director General of Police, Arms Battalion, Rajasthan, Jaipur and appointed as Director General of Police (Training & Traffic), Rajasthan, Jaipur.
Shri Anand Kumar Srivastava (1994) has been transferred from DGP, Training & Traffic, Rajasthan, Jaipur and appointed as Director General of Police (Special Operations), Rajasthan, Jaipur.
Shri Ashok Kumar Rathore (1994) has been transferred from Additional DGP, Training, Rajasthan, Jaipur and appointed as Director General, Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB), Rajasthan, Jaipur.
