Hyderabad police have arrested actor Allu Arjun in connection with the stampede that occurred at Sandhya Theatre, leading to the tragic death of a woman. The case has also been registered against the actor’s team and the theatre management.

Incident Details
The incident took place on the night of December 4 during the premiere show of Pushpa 2, when an overwhelming crowd gathered at the Sandhya Theatre on the busy RTC Crossroads in Hyderabad. The stampede claimed the life of 35-year-old Revathi, who had come to the event with her 9-year-old son, Sri Teja. While Revathi lost her life, her son was hospitalized due to asphyxiation caused by the chaotic crowd.
Police Action
A team from Chikkadapally Police Station detained Allu Arjun from his residence in Jubilee Hills and shifted him to the station for questioning. Authorities confirmed that both the actor and the theatre management face charges under sections 105 and 118(1) of the Indian Penal Code (IPC).
The Case Against Allu Arjun and Theatre Management
Reports suggest that the lack of proper crowd control measures and inadequate security arrangements led to the tragedy. Allegations have been leveled against the actor’s security team and the theatre management for failing to manage the large turnout responsibly.
