Udaipur : Continuing their protests against Padmavati, members of Shri Karni Sena held a vehicle rally in Udaipur city on Tuesday evening. Over 150 youths riding on motorcycles and jeeps took out a procession through the city streets and went to the collectorate. They gave a memorandum demanding complete ban on the movie.
The agitators also went to the cinema theatres where managers informed them that the movie would not be screened and the announcement was made public. Later the protesters gathered at Pratapnagar choraha connecting Udaipur- Chittorgarh highway where they demonstrated for an hour. During the protests tyres were burnt and slogans were raised. Similar protests were reported from several places including Rajsamand, Pratapgarh, Chittorgarh, Banswara and Dungarpur districts.
