Prahalad Singh, who helped arrest the main accused in the Kanhaiyalal murder case, gets a government job

Udaipur : Prahalad Singh Chundawat (32), son of Manohar Singh Chundawat, who helped arrest the main accused in the Kanhaiyalal tailor murder case in Udaipur, has been given a government job by the state government.

According to a letter from the Joint Secretary, Home (Group-1) Department, the Rajasthan Fourth Class Service Rules, 1999 were relaxed. On January 30, the district level committee recommended the appointment of Prahalad as a fourth class employee on the basis of his educational qualification and other documents. After this, Prahalad Singh was given the appointment and his post was fixed as a fourth class employee in the vacant post in the Sub-Divisional Office Devgarh.

On June 28, 2022, the news of the Kanhaiyalal murder case spread in Udaipur. The police received information that the accused had fled towards Bhim sub-division. During this time, Prahalad Singh, a resident of Tal village, and Shakti Singh (30), son of Govind Singh Chundawat, a resident of Kakarod village, Suratpura Panchayat, were drinking tea at a tea stall in Tal village. Prahalad Singh said that while drinking tea, he received a call from Constable Babu Singh, posted at Devgarh police station, who informed him that a video of the murder case that took place in Udaipur had surfaced. The two accused could come towards the village. Keep an eye on them.

Just five minutes after the call, a Pulsar bike passed in front of them. The bike riders were exactly as described by the police. Prahalad Singh and Shakti Singh, without wasting a minute, followed them on their bike. They updated the police that the accused had just passed in front of them and they were chasing them. Chasing the accused, they reached Togi Mor. Where they were joined by the police. Later, the police also put their jeep behind the accused and finally the police caught both the accused.
