Kota, April 15, 2026 (Udaipur Kiran): Several areas in Kota city will face scheduled power cuts today due to maintenance work on electricity lines and transformers, officials said.

The private power company has taken the shutdown to carry out essential maintenance, including inspection of wiring, poles, and feeders. Residents have been advised to complete important tasks in advance. Power supply will be restored once the work is completed.
Areas Affected and Timings:
10:00 am to 2:00 pm (4 hours): Vigyan Nagar Sector 1, 2 and partial Sector 4, Bajaj Nagar, Narayan Vihar, Jayshree Awas, areas near Kamla Udyan including Parshwanath Colony, Vrindavan Vihar, Shrinath Nagar Special, Maple Park, Bajaj Nagar, Krishna Height Multi surroundings, and PHED areas.
10:00 am to 1:00 pm (3 hours): Landmark Crown and Landmark Allen Building areas.
11:30 am to 3:30 pm (4 hours): Bajrang Nagar, Vasundhara Vihar, Shriram Vihar, Gayatri Vihar, and Gulab Bagh.
3:00 pm to 6:00 pm (3 hours): Suman Colony, Khatik Chowk, Samson Ghat, Laxmi Devi Vidya Bhavan, Gyan Sarovar, Shyam Bihari Colony, Dhan Dhan Satguru Ashram, Shivam Enclave, Gyan Sarovar First, Satyam Enclave, Patan Road, areas near Krishna School in Girdharpura, and Shreshth Vihar.
