Power Cut in Bhilwara, October 27: Multiple Areas to Face 8 AM–12 PM Electricity Shutdown
Bhilwara, October 27, 2026 (Udaipur Kiran): Several areas of Bhilwara will experience a four-hour power cut on Tuesday, October 27, due to maintenance work on electricity lines and grids. Power supply will remain disrupted from 8 AM to 12 PM in areas connected to different feeders.
Assistant Engineer Harish Kumar Tailor of AVVNL has appealed to consumers in the affected areas to complete essential work in advance.
Transport Nagar and Industrial Areas to Face Power Cut
Electricity supply will be disrupted in areas connected to the Transport Nagar feeder, including:
- 33/11 kV Azad Nagar Grid
- Transport Nagar
- Anmol Diesel
- Om Dharam Kanta
- Nuwal Service Centre
- Dalda Mill
- Cotton Mill
- Container Depot
- Dhariwal Steel
- Jodhamandal Ka Khera
- Chauth Mata Temple and nearby areas
Azad Nagar and Surrounding Areas
The power cut will affect several sectors of Azad Nagar and nearby locations, including:
- Azad Nagar Sectors A, B, F, G, H and I
- Maheshwari School and Kumbha Hostel
- Kumbha School and Sharma Clinic
- Pokhar Alubada and Sanwariya Temple
- UMDS and the Old Bus Stand
- Chittorgarh Road and Mahadev Cotton Mill
- Suzuki Enclave and the area behind Ramdham
- PFC Restaurant, Transport Nagar and Jai Hind Circle
- BSL Guest House and nearby areas
Electricity supply will also be disrupted in Azad Nagar Sectors D, E, F, G, H, J, K, O, P and Q, along with the Ambesh Hospital area.
Bairwa Basti to Chandrashekhar Azad Nagar
Areas connected to the Ambesh feeder will face a power cut, including Bairwa Basti, Happy Days School, Swastik Enclave, Rishi Vatika, Mokhampura Road, Devaka Khera, Mokhampura and nearby locations.
The shutdown will also affect areas connected to the Harni feeder, including:
- Chandrashekhar Azad Nagar Sectors 1 to 7 and M Sector
- Azad Nagar behind Modern Mill
- Gram Bharati and Garg Department
- Areas around the Indane Gas Agency
- Champion Car and Radiance Hotel
Maintenance work at the 33 kV Azad Nagar Grid will also affect the connected areas.
Main Markets and Commercial Areas
Electricity supply will remain disrupted in areas connected to the 11 kV Fateh Tower and GPO feeders, including:
- Fateh Tower and Kotwali
- Murli Vilas Road and Junawas
- Gulmandi and Jama Masjid
- Nagori Garden and Sarafa Market
- Mahavir Park and Station Road
- Sadar Bazaar and Gol Pyau Circle
- Market No. 2 and Kabra Gali
Areas connected to the 11 kV Session Court feeder, including the Session Court and evening vegetable market areas, will also face a power cut.
Other Areas Affected from 8 AM to 12 PM
The scheduled shutdown will also affect Bhilwara Club, the Congress office, Totla Bhawan, Nathdwara Sarai, Sirat Sarai, the railway station, Indra Market, Banjara Hotel, Gokul Plaza, Beawar Wala Halwai, Machinery Market, Market No. 2, Apsara Complex, Kamal Ka Kuan, the Police Control Room and nearby areas.
