18 Assembly seats spread across eight Maoist-affected districts of Chhattisgarh will go to polls in the first phase.
As many as 4,336 polling booths have been set up for this phase. All arrangements have been done for free and fair elections.
The remaining 72 constituencies will witness polling on November 20 in the second and last phase.
Counting of votes will be take place on December 11. A total of 1,291 candidates are in the fray for the 90-member House.
