UDAIPUR, March 10 – Crackdown on Illegal Activities In a major police operation, the Surajpole police station and District Special Team (DST) conducted a late-night raid on an illegal hookah bar in Udaipur, leading to the seizure of hookahs, alcohol, and flavored tobacco. The bar operator was arrested on the spot for running the establishment without a valid license.

According to Surajpole Police Station Officer Ratan Singh Chauhan, the arrested accused has been identified as Vikas Sahu (35), son of Devilal, a resident of Bhupalwadi, Dhanmandi police station area.
Police Raid on ‘The Crystal Café & Restaurant’
The raid took place at ‘The Crystal Café & Restaurant’ located on Durga Nursery Road, following a tip-off from an informant. Reports indicated that the establishment was illegally serving hookah and alcohol to customers.
Upon reaching the premises, the police and DST teams found evidence of unlawful activities, including:
✔ 10 Hookahs with flavored tobacco
✔ 9 Beer bottles
✔ 2 Liquor bottles
Since the accused did not possess any valid license for serving hookah or alcohol, he was immediately taken into custody.
Legal Action Initiated Against the Accused
A case has been registered against Vikas Sahu, and further investigations are underway. The Surajpole police have confirmed that strict action will be taken to curb illegal hookah bars and unauthorized liquor sales in Udaipur.
Authorities have also warned other establishments against engaging in similar unlawful activities, emphasizing that violations of legal regulations will result in severe consequences.
