Taking advantage of the darkness, the robbers threatened the couple and fled with 8 thousand rupees cash in their possession. The tourists managed to reach the highway and went to Sadar police station and reported about the incident. The police swung into action and went to the crime spot. At the instructions of the Chittorgarh SP, a joint team of four police stations laid check points and intensely searched the area and finally succeeded in arresting three men within few hours of the loot. The accused hail from a nomadic community.
