PM Modi to Visit Rajasthan on February 28 for Project Launches

New Delhi, February 27: Prime Minister Narendra Modi will visit Ajmer, Rajasthan, on February 28. The visit will focus on the inauguration and foundation-laying of development projects, the launch of a health campaign, and significant steps towards job creation for the youth. There is considerable excitement in Rajasthan regarding PM Modi’s visit.

Local resident Kachhawa expressed, “Prime Minister Narendra Modi is coming to Ajmer. Everyone is ready to welcome him. The double-engine government is working at double speed. Tomorrow will be historic, with over 21,000 appointment letters and development works worth more than ₹23,500 crores.”

He added, “Ajmer is the heart of Rajasthan. The Prime Minister makes significant announcements here. The launch of the HPV vaccine will be a boon for women.”

Another resident, Dinesh Khandelwal, described the Prime Minister’s visit as historic. He noted, “Ajmer has always been famous for hospitality. The Prime Minister has visited twice before. He knows that announcements made here have a large impact, like the vaccine for cancer being launched from Ajmer.”

A woman named Anita shared, “Our Prime Minister is coming to the sacred land of Ajmer tomorrow. He will launch several important schemes, including one that is crucial for women. PM Modi will inaugurate the HPV vaccine, which will provide safety to many women. It can be administered to girls aged 9 to 14, while most individuals up to the age of 26 can receive it. This will offer protection against cancer in the future.”

PM Modi is expected to arrive in Ajmer around 11:30 AM on Saturday, where he will inaugurate and lay the foundation for various development projects worth over ₹16,680 crores. He will also address a large public gathering.

The Prime Minister will first launch a nationwide campaign for the vaccination of girls aged 14 against the Human Papillomavirus (HPV), focusing on the prevention of cervical cancer, a leading cause of cancer among women. This initiative will protect the long-term health of millions of girls and women across the country, marking a milestone in women’s welfare and health security.

The development projects will cover key areas such as urban development, drinking water supply, roads, irrigation, energy, and industrial infrastructure. To strengthen road connectivity, the Prime Minister will inaugurate and lay the foundation for several national highway projects, including the Bandikui-Jaipur 4-lane Greenfield Expressway and the Amritsar-Jamnagar Economic Corridor.

To address the drinking water crisis, the foundation stones for four packages of the Nonera major drinking water project and five packages of the Parwan Akavad major drinking water project will be laid.

To promote the renewable energy sector, the Prime Minister will inaugurate the transmission system for power extraction from Rajasthan’s Renewable Energy Zones (REZ). He will also lay the foundation for five 220 kV and two 400 kV grid substations along with related transmission lines.

Demonstrating a commitment to job creation and youth empowerment, the Prime Minister will distribute appointment letters to over 21,800 newly appointed youths in various government departments and organizations in Rajasthan.
