Prime Minister Narendra Modi laid the foundation stone of various development works of the Saibaba Sansthan Trust worth rupees 475 Crore.
These include a new Darshan Queue shelter at the Shirdi Sai Baba Temple, the Sai Education complex and sports centre worth Rupees 160 crore, a Sai Knowledge park showcasing Sai Baba’s life in digital Format and a 10 Mw Solar Plant to boost green energy.
The Sai Darshan building project will have 12 halls designed to accommodate more than 18,000 devotees.In keeping with the Modi government’s commitment to ensuring a house for all by 2022, the Prime Minister distributed keys to 10 beneficiaries marking e-Grihpravesh in Ahmednagar, Nashik, Aurangabad, Beed and Pune districts under the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana Grameen.
In all 20,000 beneficiaries have got homes in these five districts under this scheme.
Addressing the gathering, the Prime minister said new home brings with it the power to dream bigger and fulfil aspirations.
He said that ‘Housing for All’ is a great way to fight poverty.
