Plot to Derail Vande Bharat Express in Pali Foiled, Case Filed

Pali, August 26 (Udaipur Kiran) – A shocking incident involving the high-speed Vande Bharat Express train in Pali has come to light. On the night of August 23, an unidentified person placed a cement block on the tracks, intending to derail the train. The Vande Bharat Express, traveling from Ahmedabad to Jodhpur, collided with the cement block around 8:30 PM. Fortunately, a major disaster was avoided.

At the time of the incident, around 375 passengers were on board, putting their lives in danger. The train halted briefly at the scene before resuming its journey. Considering the seriousness of the incident, railway officials filed a case against the unknown individual. Bharat Singh Rawat, the SHO of Sumerpur Police Station, stated that Senior Section Engineer Pawan Kumar filed a report on August 24. The report mentioned that the station master of Jawai Bandh Railway Station informed them that a cement block was placed on the downline between Jawai Bandh and Birolia stations.

When the Vande Bharat train passed by, its rail guard collided with the block, causing damage to the engine’s rail guard. The train was delayed by about seven minutes. The police have registered a case and started an investigation. It is suspected that the cement block was placed on the track with the intention of causing a serious accident.
