PIMS Mewar Cup 2026 Begins Feb 17

Udaipur, February 16, 2026 (Udaipur Kiran) — The fourth edition of the PIMS Mewar Cup 2026, organised by PIMS City Hospital with co-sponsorship from Solitaire, will be held from February 17 to 24 at Field Club, Udaipur.

The tournament trophy was officially unveiled on Sunday at Solitaire Banquet and Garden in the presence of PIMS Hospital Umarda Chairman and CEO Ashish Agrawal, PIMS City Hospital CEO Naman Agrawal, Mirage Group’s Vikas Purohit (National Publicity Convener), Round Table India’s Shashank Singhvi, and CID’s Himanshu Singh Rajawat.

PIMS City Hospital CEO Naman Agrawal informed that the tournament will be inaugurated on February 17 by Punjab Governor Gulab Chand Kataria. Two matches will be played daily from February 17, while the final match for the trophy will be held on February 24.

A total of eight teams will compete in Group A and Group B formats. More than 40 IPL players are expected to showcase their talent during the tournament.

The participating teams are: PIMS United, Cross Roads, Mewar Tourism Club, GCA Colts, Adityam Real Estate, Delhi Challengers, Udaipur Lake City Warriors, and Balaji Constructions.

Beyond cricket, the event carries a strong social message. This year’s theme is “Bowl Out Cancer.” Organisers stated that around two crore people worldwide are affected by cancer every year, and medical experts emphasise that early screening and proper diagnosis can help control the disease effectively.

Naman Agrawal, the driving force behind the initiative, said sports serve as a powerful medium to unite society. He added that through Leela Foundation, there are plans to provide free cancer screening and treatment in the coming years for rural and economically weaker sections. The aim is to spread awareness and take meaningful steps for social welfare through sports.
