Pacific Institute of Physiotherapy Holds Two-Day Workshop on Stress Management Through Art and Craft

Udaipur: The Pacific Institute of Physiotherapy at PAHER University organised a two-day workshop on “Stress Management Through Art and Craft” on October 12 and 13, 2026, in collaboration with Fevicryl Hobby Ideas.

The workshop was organised by Dr Raheela Ghodch and her team, with Professor Khushab Agrawal attending as the chief guest.

Creative Activities to Help Students Manage Stress

Academic pressure and concerns about the future are contributing to stress among students. The workshop introduced art and craft as a way to manage stress and encourage self-expression.

Students participated in painting, craftwork, origami and other creative activities. Through these sessions, they explored ways to reduce stress and express themselves creatively.

The participants learned that artistic activities can help calm the mind while promoting concentration, positive thinking and mental balance. These qualities are particularly important for students pursuing physiotherapy, a profession that requires both professional skills and emotional balance.

Students enthusiastically participated in the two-day programme and showcased their creative work.

Vice-Chancellor Highlights Importance of Mental Well-Being

On the occasion, Professor Hemant Kothari, Vice-Chancellor of the institution, said that such workshops not only encourage students’ creativity but also support mental health and stress management.

The workshop provided students with an opportunity to explore creative activities as a means of relaxation and personal expression.
