(Udaipur Kiran) — Oppo appears to be simplifying its upcoming Reno 15 lineup. According to a recent leak, the smartphone maker has decided to drop one of the previously expected models, narrowing the series down to just two variants — the Reno 15 and Reno 15 Pro.

Reliable tipster Digital Chat Station has revealed that Oppo might cancel the 6.59-inch model, earlier believed to be the Reno 15 Pro. Instead, the company will reportedly streamline the series to focus on the standard Reno 15 and a higher-end Reno 15 Pro, which was initially thought to be the “Pro Max” version.
Specifications (Expected)
Both the Reno 15 and Reno 15 Pro are said to feature a metal frame with IP68/IP69 dust and water resistance.
Reno 15: Expected to sport a 6.32-inch display with 1.5K resolution and 120Hz refresh rate. It may feature a 200MP HP5 main sensor, along with 50MP ultra-wide and 50MP periscope telephoto lenses. On the front, the phone could include a 50MP selfie camera.
Reno 15 Pro: The higher-end model could get a 6.78-inch display with similar resolution and refresh rate. It’s expected to share the same camera setup but may include 50W wireless charging support.
Both smartphones are likely to be powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 8450 chipset, replacing earlier rumors that the top variant would feature the Dimensity 9400. The phones may also pack a 6,500mAh battery and an in-display fingerprint sensor.
The Oppo Reno 15 lineup is expected to debut soon, though the company has not yet confirmed the launch timeline or official specifications.
