Oppo Reno 12 Pro, specifications and design of the Reno 12 revealed before its launch

The Oppo Reno 12 Pro is expected to launch soon in India and global markets alongside the standard Reno 12 model. The smartphones were launched in China last month and the company has now confirmed that the devices will launch in other regions as well. Although a launch date has not been announced yet, a source has revealed the specifications of both models in the Reno 12 series, as well as renders of the device designs, showing a curved display with smooth edges.

The images of the Oppo Reno 12 and Reno 12 Pro published by leaker Sudhanshu Ambhore appear to be very similar to the models that arrived in China on May 23rd. The standard version will have a display with curved left and right edges. This is the Chinese version of the Oppo Reno 12 and features a display with the same four curved edges as the Reno 12 Pro model.

Meanwhile, renders leaked by experts suggest that the phone will feature a triple rear camera setup and smooth edges. Both the volume and power buttons are located on the right edge of the phone. The images show this phone in two of the three colors available in China. Particle for direct object

According to leaked specifications from a tipster, the Oppo Reno 12 will feature a 6.7-inch Full HD+ 3D (1080 x 2412 pixels) AMOLED display with a refresh rate and maximum brightness of up to 1200 nits. The displays of the Reno 12 and Reno 12 Pro models are protected by Corning’s Gorilla Glass 7i and Gorilla Glass Victus 2, respectively. Particle for direct object

Reno 12 and Reno 12 Pro are powered by MediaTek Dimensity 7300-Energy SoC with Mali G615 GPU, paired with 12GB LPDDR4X RAM and up to 512GB UFS 3.1 storage. These phones are said to run on ColorOS 14.1 based on Android 14 out of the box. The device should also be dust and splash-proof with the IP65 standard.

Both devices are expected to feature a 50-megapixel primary camera with Sony LYT-600 and optical image stabilization and an 8-megapixel ultra-wide camera with IMX355 sensor. The standard model has a 2-megapixel macro camera and a 32-megapixel selfie camera on the front, while the Pro model has a 50-megapixel telephoto camera and a 50-megapixel selfie camera.

The leaked specs also reveal that the Reno 12 and Reno 12 Pro have a 5,000mAh battery and support 80W SuperVOOC charging, which will supposedly charge the phone from zero to 100% in 46 minutes can.
