According to a poster leaked by an intelligence source, the Oppo F27 series could launch in India later this month. This series is expected to consist of three devices: Oppo F27, Oppo F27 Pro and Oppo F27 Pro+. The company’s upcoming Oppo F27 Pro is also said to be the first smartphone in India to feature IP69 protection against dust and water. One of the Pro models could be a rebranded version of another smartphone the company recently launched in China.

The Oppo F27 series launch date in India has been announced
Tipster Mukul Sharma has leaked the launch poster of the Oppo F27 series in India on X (ex-Twitter). The poster states that the Oppo F27 Pro+ will launch in India on June 13. The smartphone series is also expected to consist of the Oppo F27 Pro and the standard model Oppo F27.
According to a source’s post, at least one of the smartphones in the series will feature IP66, IP68 and IP69 dust and water resistance ratings. The device’s various IP ratings are expected to become clearer when the company launches it later this month.
Oppo F27 Pro or Oppo F27 Pro+ may launch as a rebrand of Oppo A3 Pro.
The design of the smartphone in the leaked poster shows that the Oppo F27 Pro+ is similar to another smartphone called Oppo A3 Pro that was launched in China last month. It includes a circular rear camera module centered on the top half of the back panel, as well as the two colors shown on the poster.
In addition to its design, the Oppo A3 Pro is the company’s first phone to receive IP69 protection in China. This suggests that the device could launch in India as a rebranded version of the A-series phones. However, it is currently unclear whether the Oppo F27 Pro or the F27 Pro+ will be the global version of the Oppo A3 Pro.
If these speculations are true, the Oppo F27 Pro or Oppo F27 Pro+ could come with the Dimensity 7050 chipset paired with up to 12GB of RAM. The phone features a dual rear camera setup consisting of a 64-megapixel main camera and a 2-megapixel depth sensor. The phone packs a 5000mAh battery with support for 67W SuperVOOC charging.
