Good news for Oppo smartphone lovers. The company has come up with a free battery replacement program for its customers. According to tipster Digital Chat Station, Oppo will soon announce a battery replacement program that will offer free battery replacement within 4 years.
The company will start this program with the upcoming OPPO A2 Pro 5G smartphone. According to another tipster, WHYLAB, if the battery health drops below 80% within four years, it will be eligible for replacement under after-sales service, which is much longer than the normal 1-2 year warranty offered by other companies. Although Oppo has not yet confirmed the arrival of A2 Pro, almost everything about the phone has been revealed from the leaked reports that have come out.
Oppo A2 Pro 5G price and launch date
Recently, the upcoming Oppo A2 Pro 5G was found to be listed in the database of China Telecom’s product library. According to the listing, it will be available in 8GB RAM + 256GB storage (price: around ₹24,000), 12GB RAM + 256GB storage (price: around ₹26,000) and 12GB RAM + 512GB storage (price: around ₹28,000) configurations.
Please note that these are expected prices and may change before the official launch. A2 Pro 5G will be available in colors such as West Black, Desert Brown, and Dusk Cloud Purple. It is expected to be launched on September 15 and start selling by September 22.
Oppo A2 Pro 5G specifications
Oppo A2 Pro 5G will come with a 6.7-inch OLED panel with curved edges. The display will support full HD+ resolution, 120Hz refresh rate, and an under-display fingerprint sensor. It is expected to run on Android 13 based on ColorOS 13. The phone is expected to feature a Dimensity 7050 processor, up to 12GB of RAM, and up to 512GB of storage. It will have a 5000mAh battery with 67W fast charging support. For photography, the phone will have a 64MP primary camera and a 2MP macro or depth sensor at the rear. For selfies and video calls, the phone will have an 8MP front camera.
