Lucknow, July 21: Uttar Pradesh Cabinet Minister OP Rajbhar has leveled serious allegations against the Samajwadi Party (SP), claiming that while the party professes to advocate for the poor, backward classes, and Dalits, there is significant injustice occurring at the grassroots level.
In a recent conversation, Rajbhar stated, “A video is going viral from Mau, where Rajiv Rai is reportedly encroaching on Yadav’s land, leading to a physical altercation. Inappropriate language was also used there. Another SP MP, Daroga Prasad Saroj from Lalganj, has allegedly seized 50 bighas of land belonging to a Dalit and is constructing a swimming pool on it.”
Rajbhar further accused MP Daroga Prasad Saroj of taking over approximately 50 bighas of land and a pond belonging to a Dalit woman in Mohanpur Patwas village of Azamgarh. He mentioned that the entire area has been fenced off and electric current has been installed to prevent anyone from entering. Rajbhar emphasized that encroaching on the land of the poor and Dalits is unacceptable for any public representative.
Additionally, Rajbhar targeted SP President Akhilesh Yadav over a statement made by Maulana Jargis Ansari, who referred to Lord Krishna as a “five-time namazi.” He stated that since Yadav claims to be a descendant of Lord Krishna, he should have responded openly to this statement. Rajbhar suggested that if Yadav disagrees with the Maulana’s remarks, he should demand an FIR against him. The lack of response from Yadav so far indicates that he may not oppose the Maulana’s statement.
As the Uttar Pradesh Assembly elections approach, Rajbhar has launched a sharp attack on the opposition, asserting that the Congress and SP will not be able to compete against the BJP and its allies. He predicted that the opposition would face a similar defeat in 2027 as they did in 2017 and 2022. Rajbhar expressed confidence that the National Democratic Alliance (NDA) will return to power with even more seats. He stated that the opposition’s coalition will fail to win the trust of the state’s populace.
Furthermore, Rajbhar supported the decision to implement new security measures and CCTV surveillance at the Shri Krishna Janmabhoomi complex, stating that such measures are essential to prevent any untoward incidents and maintain law and order. He noted that if the administration remains vigilant, the likelihood of future disputes will be reduced.
