OnePlus Watch 2 was announced at Mobile World Congress (MWC) 2024 in February this year. It was launched in India and other global markets in two colors. This smartwatch was released in Europe in a third color. The new colors are intended to share the design language of the OnePlus 12 smartphone series. The watch features a dual-engine architecture that allows it to run two operating systems and offers up to 100 hours of battery life.
OnePlus Watch 2 price, availability
The OnePlus Watch 2 Nordic Blue Edition is priced at 349 euros (approximately Rs. 31,200) in select European markets. The Black and Radiant Steel colors are priced at €329 (approximately Rs. 29,400). New color options are available in Ireland, Germany, UK and other European countries. It has not yet been confirmed whether it will be released outside the EU.
OnePlus Watch 2 specifications and features
The OnePlus Watch 2 features a 1.43-inch round AMOLED display with a resolution of 466 x 466 pixels, a maximum brightness of 600 nits and a 2.5D sapphire crystal display. It is a Snapdragon W5 SoC and a BES2700 chipset.
The former helps run Wear OS and Play Store apps, while the latter runs an RTOS responsible for background activities. Users can also switch between Wear OS 4 and RTOS. The watch comes with 2GB RAM and 32GB internal storage and 4GB EMMC storage for RTOS.
It features a stainless steel housing, an IP68 rating for 5ATM water, dust and splash resistance, and a MIL-STD-810H military-grade construction. The OnePlus Watch 2 features a fluoro rubber strap with a stainless steel buckle.
The smartwatch comes with over 100 pre-installed sports modes and tracks sleep, blood oxygen levels, heart rate, stress and more. All your watch data can be synced with the OHealth app, which also supports Google Health Connect services.
Powered by a 500mAh battery, the OnePlus Watch 2 offers up to 48 hours of battery life under heavy use, up to 100 hours of battery life in Smart mode, and up to 12 days of battery life in power saving mode. It also supports L1+L5 GPS, Bluetooth 5.0, Wi-Fi, NFC and USB Type-C connectivity. The dimensions of this watch are 47 x 46.6 x 12.1 mm and its weight is 49 grams.
