OnePlus Pad 2 is expected to launch in the country later this year. The company has not yet revealed details about the tablet. However, rumors about this model appeared on the Internet.
An insider suggested the tablet’s release schedule. It is expected to be the successor to the OnePlus Pad, which was launched globally in February 2023 and arrived in India in April of the same year. The OnePlus Pad 2 is expected to have improved features compared to the previous model.
In a post on X (formerly Twitter), tipster Max Jambor (@MaxJmb) said that the OnePlus Pad 2 is expected to launch in the second half of 2024, between July and December of this year. The tipster did not reveal any further details about the alleged tablet.
The OnePlus Pad is priced in India at Rs 37,999 for the 8GB + 128GB variant, while the 12GB + 256GB variant is priced at Rs 37,999. 39,999 The tablet is available in a single color Halo Green.
The OnePlus Pad features an 11.61-inch display with a resolution of 2800 x 2000 pixels, a 144Hz refresh rate, a 7:5 aspect ratio, 500 nits peak brightness, and an 88 percent screen-to-body ratio. The tablet is powered by a MediaTek Dimensity 9000 SoC paired with up to 12GB of LPDDR5 RAM and up to 256GB of UFS 3.1 internal storage. It comes with OxygenOS 13.1 based on Android 13.
In terms of cameras, the OnePlus Pad comes with a 13-megapixel rear camera and an 8-megapixel selfie camera. The tablet is equipped with a 9510mAh battery that supports 67W SuperVOOC wired fast charging. It measures 258 x 189.4 x 6.5 mm and weighs 552 grams.
Meanwhile, the company has launched the OnePlus Pad Go in India in October 2023, priced at Rs 19,999 for the 8GB + 128GB Wi-Fi only variant. Available in two mint colors. The tablet features an 11.35-inch 2.4K LCD display, MediaTek Helio G99 SoC, 8MP rear camera, 8MP selfie camera, and 8000mAh battery with 33W SuperVOOC charging support.
