OnePlus rolls out OxygenOS 14.0.1.704 update for OnePlus Nord CE 4. The latest software update is available for OnePlus Nord CE 4 users in India and will be available to all users worldwide. To improve the security of your system, we are rolling out the June 2024 Android security patch.
This update also fixes OnePlus Nord CE 4 camera issues. These include problems with stuttering video recording in certain scenarios and problems viewing photos in certain scenarios. It is available as an over-the-air (OTA) update with an incremental rollout.
Here are the full changes:
New smooth animation
• Seamlessly change icons and their rounded corners when adding and exiting the app for a smoother visual experience.
• Add a jump animation effect when sliding down the notification bar, and optimize the layer effect of quick settings icons and widgets to achieve a more natural and elegant visual effect.
• Optimize home screen icons and widget transition animations, and add a zoom animation for the wallpaper when the device is unlocked.
• Added zoom animation for the wallpaper and gradual brightness changes when the screen turns on/off.
• Optimize the home screen background color and Gaussian blur effect.
Optimize the transition animation when the clock and lock screen buttons disappear when the device is unlocked.
• The animation when entering and exiting global search has been optimized to ensure a smoother and more consistent visual experience.
New touch control experience
Add transition animations when you swipe in from the side of the screen or swipe up to exit an app in landscape mode.
• You can now tap the bottom right corner of large folders to view more apps.
• You can now drag down the app icon in large folders to open the app with just one action.
• Improved responsiveness of touch controls. Taps and swipes on the Home screen and recent tasks screen are now faster and more stable.
• Improved touch responsiveness in application scenarios. For example, opening and closing apps, starting and ending current tasks, or dragging the navigation bar to switch between apps.
• Optimize animations when using large folders. Dragging apps to the home screen is now smoother.
